Hello!

So I am looking for "feedback", I am cautiously 4 weeks pregnant. I have a lot to deicide on. Part of me wants a VBAC, part of me wants a C-section.

The problem is, for me to have a VBAC I have to doctor two hours away. The thought of driving 2 hours in labor, scares me a little.

Has any ever drove a long distant while in labor to their hospital, if so would you do it again? was it a pleasant experience, worth it?

Just replying, because nobody else has.
You must be one tough nut to even consider driving two hours while undergoing contractions! My advice, not recommended - have someone else on standby to drive or get a taxi.

I'm not pregnant yet but wanted to reply because I have the same issue when I do get pregnant. The hospital is 2 hours away and not sure about the drive while in labour. I think that's what scares me the most about having a baby.

I think if I knew the hospital was 2 hours away then I'd be going for the c section personally. When I opted for vbac they wanted me to come straight to the hospital as soon as contractions started so I could be monitored because of the risk of scar rupture during labour. I was 45 mins away so that was a worry for me. As it turned out I was induced but it's just a thought.
