Hi all,

Am off to a mega casual wedding reception later on. The couple got married abroad and are having bbq and bouncy castle etc at a local golf club.

I am SO bloated...none of my clothes fit. Not 1 of my dresses look right...and I have a lot!! Probs doesn't help that I am overweight anyway so clothes don't really have much give...and when I am bloated I just look mega fat!

Anyway - do you think I can get away with wearing a floaty orange chiffon top with floral chiffon kaftan/cardie type top, brand new jeggings (can't bear to wear jeans as feel claustrophobic) and sparkly flip flops?

I would normally always wear a dress but I just don't feel comfortable... Plus I'm meeting all of DH work friends for the first time and can't even have a drink so need to feel a bit comfy.

What do you think? In the process of a major self confidence break down!! Xx

I would wear whatever you feel comfy in, once you start eating party food it will only get worse! I got married pregnant, 7 months gone, and I was overweight then too, with enormous boobs! omg the nightmare finding a half decent dress... and then the one I found, I grew out of before the wedding and had to get another, hilarious!

Hope it goes ok, I feel your pain for sure!! X

Wow Dan-o poor you! I thought it was hard enough finding a dress when I got married last year let alone to fit a growing bump!!

RaspK - I've got a few strapless maxi dresses but my left boob (yep...not the right) is massive at the mo and none of my strapless bras fit right. Plus... It's raining here today so I could end up with soggy skirt.

I feel so massive this time round already. Probs not helped by previous emcs and massive apron stomach.

The joys of being a pregnant woman!!

Xx
