Very long period

So my son is 21 months and about two weeks ago I cut down the breastfeeding so now he only has a couple at night. About 4 days later my period started, which is the first since having him. It has now lasted 13 days, it's light, a lot lighter than normal.
Is this normal? Has anyone else had this?

I haven't restarted my period yet, so no insight, sorry! Didn't want to read and run. From what I've heard, it can take a while for them to get back to a regular length, flow, and frequency though.
