Very random weird question!!

So I was looking at my baby ticker and it said breast leakage and fake contractions blah blah blah and I started thinking...


I'm supposed to lactate??


I haven't yet and wanted to know if anyone has experienced it and if it's like a lot of just like barely anything because I know that in the beginning of my pregnancy I'd have like dry white stuff come out and I don't know if that's what they are talking about with that.

You're leaking during the day and aren't even realizing it! That white dry stuff is dried colostrum. Colostrum is the first form of breastmilk that comes in and it can range from clear, to yellowish. When it dried though, it's usually white or yellow.

If your really curious, press around/squeeze your boob and you should see some come out.

You're lucky though! I leak like crazy now. If I wear a top without a bra I get little wet spots.

I hate the wet spots! And if I look in my bra, I can tell you where my nipples sit xP. Mine isnt that bad though, just happens at random times.

Ugh yes, all of my bras have little yellow spots in them. I shove a piece of folded tissue in there now!

Mines very random as to when it happens. Some days it's only a little, other days it's like I exploded.

When I was about 24ish weeks I leaked more than I do now for some reason? I would have wet spots on my shirt if I slept without a bra on or I would just wear the lansinoh breast pads to keep the spots out of my bra, but now I only have a little bit of dried colostrum once in awhile and its really only at night.

I leaked a lot more at around 19 weeks pregnant, I would wake up at night and my shirt would be wet where my nips were. Now I just have dried colostrum on them when I go to shower and when I squeeze them yellow stuff comes out. More so out of my left than right, so I'm concerned that my right won't produce milk! But I have definitely stopped leaking noticeably, although occasionally I will feel tingling and then notice I have leaked.

Im only 3 days behind you and i have not experienced leaking, or noticed any wet spots/discoloration in my bras. my nipples havent been crusty...idk, but im right there with you.

I havent leaked at all. Mine look like they are peeling but they arent leaking or crusty

I didn't leak until 32 weeks and that was only once & the week running up to going into labour I leaked quite alot.

It's not a problem if you do or don't, I still managed to breastfeed despite barely leaking. x

I squeezed my boob yesterday and stuff came out so I'm good but it was pretty gross... It looked like I was popping a HUGE zit. sorry if TMI

I didn't have any leakage at all until I went into labour & i'm breastfeeding with no problems x
