Visiting Dad's

If your LO goes to their dad when do they go and how long for? I left my ex 10 months ago and he has LO on a tuesday night and either a fri or a sat night and the whole next day! He will often kick up a fuss and want him the sunday night aswell, i dont really agree with this as its too much coming and going and he has to bring him out early to get him home! I would never deny him time with his dad but 2 nights a week i think is reasonable. Am i being unreasonable?

I think it's hard to judge what works for you, but i see the average is 2 nights a week?? i guess it's just how it fits in with everyone schedule.

maybe cos im in a totaly oppisit sution (FOB dosent have anything to do with LO) i would let him every once in a while

no you're not being unreasonable. If you say he can have bubba on Saturday night not Sunday that's the way it should be, no changing last minute.

I think you are being reasonable. Tell FOB that's how it is for now and when LO is a bit older you will discuss him having him a bit longer but not until. x

That's sounds more than reasonable.. not sure how old your LO is but I don't want FOB having DD at all overnight at the moment so he sees her two days in each week but never overnight. I'm not willing to consider it until she is 2 or talking so I can make sure she is ok there.

Well he seems to think because i left him he shouldn't suffer, i don't want him to suffer but just think im trying to do best by my LO!

amelia see's her dad, twice a month, friday night to sunday. in all honesty i dont feel its enough, she should see him every weekend but whatever he said he 'wants a life too'
