Hello Ladies,

I was reading an article that says ttc is hard stuff but we must stay positive and visualize our babies,

My baby is a boy, dark hair like his dad, light skin like me & my hazel eyes his dad's smile and witz, smart, beautiful and most importantly healthy

I can see him now looking up and me as i breastfeed him, i smile and tears run down my face as i think wow he's finally here and he's all mine
i smile and tell him i love him for forever and a day..

What about you?

I love this idea! Although I'm not very good at visualization...I sometimes try this quietly when I'm going to bed at night. Usually I can imagine my children as toddlers better than as infants- weird??

weird no, i think we should all do this.. if we visualize the "goal" i feel it can be accomplished :)

How long have you been ttc?

I never had a clear vision of ds. I think it's because I wasn't sure I would ever get him. After 8 years I was pretty deflated.

Now I have an easier time with #2. I often see a little girl with light brown hair. She's probably 7-7-8 months old and smiling while I'm holding her and ds plays with her. Ironically she is very similar in personality to her brother and very happy.

Every once in awhile I can also see a dark headed boy who is my wild child. Very adventurous and leading my ds into trouble. But they are best buds.

Makes me worry we will end up with 2 more when I really only want one. :haha: But some days they are so real feeling. I've also dreamed of them. But never all together. Only just two.

I've had several dreams about a little girl/toddler with long dark curly hair holding my hand skipping along, she has rosie red cheeks and is the sweetest so now I can't help but visualise her, she was also in my dream when she was born, it's weird but it was the same girl with thick dark hair and red cheeks! I've decided on the name Rosie when I have a little girl:cloud9:

I struggle to visualise a boy but when I do I see him looking like my brothers and sisters with bluey green eyes and light hair!

I've been TTC for 17 months now. It's funny, when I was in college I would try to visualize myself as a graduate or my life as a professional but I never could even up to the last few weeks of school it felt like it was going to be like that forever. I guess I'm just a really crummy with my imagination hahaha :)

My husband keeps saying that. And we are planning to start clomid in February or May so I guess there is always that chance.

I always imagine a baby girl with dark curly hair (dark like her dad, curly like mine) with an "English rose" complexion like me and her dads beautiful blue eyes. To be honest after 6 years trying it's hard to keep hold of the image and stay positive

Dont give up all we have is our hope and faith and if that day doesnt come we can always say we were positive till the end.
