vitamin k ?

I had a completely calm birth. Water birth. Baby born straight to my chest for skin to skin had her for about 30 minutes before MW took her to check her over etc. It wasn't intill I had delivered the placenta and was comfortable & baby was cleaned/dressed that she administered vitamin K. I didn't think twice about letting her have it & she was absolutely fine

The scares came about because it got linked to childhood cancers which hasnt been proved or disproved either way. It can also cause abnormal cell division and jaundice and I think these reasons are why people came to question it....which is good! Anything we are putting our children at the mercy of should definately be researched first!
