Vitamin Sickness

Every day when I take my prenatal vitamin I end up getting sick. And I always eat something when I take it and I always take it with milk but I still always get sick and I mean like bending over the toilet sick It sucks!! I don't expect anyone to know why it does that but I just thought I'd vent about it because I'm tired of puking!!

If you can't keep prenatals down, get kids chewables or gummie vitamins, seriously.

That's what my aunt did, and her kids are no worse off! You're still getting all the nutrients you need and most of the "extra" stuff in prenatals is really for the beginning with brain development. By now, everything's developed and baby is just getting bigger!

Oh thanks! I actually take teen daily vitamins because my dr says it has folic acid in it considering my prenatals didn't I thought about switching back but I don't know if that will have any effect for switching vitamins. Like more sickness

i had this in 1st tri, i did same as you quintinsmommy i took them before bed. but eventually i had to stop taking them and just took a gummy vit x

no matter what i do my prenatal vitamins make me so sick..i feel like some of its in my head but i seriously cant handle how sick it makes me..i eat a lot before, cut them in half, etc. and it still ruins my day.

It happened to me too. I would take them around lunch time and end up throwing them back up. Then i started taking them every night around 9:30 and it really helped, try not to eat too much before or after you take them (this could be causing you to puke too).

I had to switch brands of vitamins because they made me sooooo sick. I was taking the otc vitamins, and now i have prescription vitamins. i found out that milk made it worse too.
