I had a miscarriage on Sunday. I told myself we weren't going to try for a good while, but after looking on the net and seeing that 75% of miscarriages happen because the baby wasn't developing right makes me feel a lot better about it. I'm ok for trying again in a few months. I was just wondering since I have the prenatal vitamins, would it hurt to keep taking them? If I keep taking them do you think I would have a less chance of having another miscarriage since the baby would have the right vitamins and stuff from day one? I just don't want to try again and end up with another miscarriage. I honestly don't want to go through that again and I will do whatever it takes to prevent it.

Hi Britt,

It is reccomended to take prenatal vitamins when ttc as well - 'Pregnacare' is especially formulated for pregnancy and ttc.

I kept taking my vitamins after I had my miscarriage in the period where we were waiting for AF to show up.

Am sorry for ur loss.

Hi there. So sorry to hear of your loss :sad1:. I'm taking pregnacare with folic acid post m/c while we're waiting to tcc. I've also got my OH some too. Pregnacare do some for him and her, and I figured it couldn't help to make sure his little swimmers are in tip top condition too! Big :hugs:. You take care of yourself and good luck x x x

Sorry about your loss:hugs:
My DR recommended not to take any vitamins for one month after misscarriage. After my first cycle I started again taking PregnaCare vitamins.

My doc also suggested that I continue to take prenatal vitamins after my m/c. Especially since we will be trying again as soon as we can to get pregnant.
