waiting... waiting...
twiddling my thumbs...

who is with me?

Yup we are waiting with known fertility issues!. We had IVF back in 2013 and have a 9 month old from a surprise pregnancy. We are planning on TTC in late April and already dreading it because of my hubby's sperm

Late to the thread - but me too! We got lucky after two years TTC and I had my DD in May... we'd like to space them about 18 months to 2.5 years apart, but because it took us so long to get pregnant with DH I'm worried about waiting and keep wondering if we should start trying now!

Welcome to the party! I was sitting here twiddling my thumbs alone.

I'm impatient, so I'd start now heh.

I've also thought that if he wants kids by say... 25, then we better start now! But there's no way he would go for that.

 I have pcos and didn't fall pregnant for 4 years after having thomas (he took 2 years to conceive).

Our issue was male factor - he had a varicocelectomy in hopes of improving his morphology 6 weeks before we got pregnant. BUT we never had a follow-up sperm assessment, so we have no idea if it was the surgery or if we just got lucky. He doesn't really want to go back for a SA since we got pregnant and because they're not covered by our insurance. I hate not knowing though! I feel like it would help so much with our planning on when to start trying again.

Are you TTC now???? So excited to see you pop up here!!

Hello  no we're not. I actually had the implant put in in november although I think I will get it taken out in february. Driving me insane.

Is that the little rod put in your arm?, your braver than me that sends me all funny :haha:

Yup!! That's nothing. I orginally went for the mirena as it was the safest option with pcos and other issues. The anaesthetic didn't work properly So I felt her opening my cervix and then when the doctor tried to put it in she realised I have a tilted uterus So can't have one anyway! Agony.

Hi ladies
We ended up with IVF for our first, not sure if we will be able to TTC naturally for #2 or whether it will be straight back to IVF. My endometriosis may grow back if I come off contraception.
Have the mirena coil at the moment. (I have a tilted uterus too, a specialist Dr had to put it in though).
Just want to get on with ttc, the not knowing is awful!
