Want to plan something nice

Right im moving in 3 weeks time to a new flat (3 hours away). Now ive never lived with my OH before and we have only been together 8 and a bit months. So what sort of suggestions could you give me re:- xmas eve!!

He'll be at work but i want to maybe so something for when he arrives in from work

So ideas for a meal? or other ideas

Christmas Eve is my favourite day of the year. We always have a romantic meal. You could cook an easy 3 course meal, put your tree lights on and have a few candles around the room, decorate the table with christmas confetti and candles and put some christmas music on in the back ground. You could then wrap up warm and go for a walk and look at all the decorated houses.

My DH loves cooking and we have a book shelf full of cookery books so if you needs some food ideas let me know, just let me know what you do and don't like. Nigellas express book is really good for easy recipes.
