Wanting to start taking coq10 but dosage varies from 200-600mg. What do you take?

hi, sorry, ive not had 5 mins to sit and update properly :dohh: yer... i went...she just didnt get it...:dohh: she didnt get the whole luteal phase business...she said if i conceived then my lp would automatically get longer coz of the hormones that the fertilized egg produces....she didnt understand that that doesnt happen until it implants and if the egg doesnt implant until 10days but my luteal phase is only 9days, then it wont implant!!!

So she has sent me for blood test on cd28....difficult to book as my ov dates vary...grrrr

A blood test on cd 28???? I have heard of day 3 and day 21 but not 28... Dr's are so frustrating :-/

she first said cd21 which is based on a 28 day cycle where ovulation occurs on cd14 but my earliest ov was last month on cd20 and its usually cd23/24 so cd28 s roughly 5-8 days dpo... But im on vit b complex so that could bring my ovulation even earlier....

ahhhhh now that makes sense... I forget that not everyone has a super short cycle like me - I O on day 11 or 12... and AF on 23/24... anyway...
then that is a good thing - I can't even get my doc to do blood tests...
grrr

wow i wish i had short cycles...mine drag so much....the tww is nothing compared to the 3weeks waiting to ov...:dohh: its so frustrating coz i wait 3weeks to ov to then only have a 8/9/10 day luteal phase...all that waiting for nothing! Maybe the vit b6 in my complex will help as ive read that can increase progesterone levels too! x

Your LP is definitely too short!!! I absolutely think you should bust out that P cream... I too started taking B6... and B12, and a little bit of everything else!!! :haha:

:haha: i bet if we both jump up and down right now, we'd sound like a pair of maracca's  im on vitb complex, omega 3, coq10 and prenatals...I am so tempted to just get the cream but i kinda wana know what my levels are...if i do the cream tyen obviously the blood test results will be effected, which is good if it rAises progesterone levels but i am only guessing i have low levels, i dont actually know for sure, although i am quite sure.... X

you are so right - we should sound like musical instruments!!! I take around 13 pills a day... Vit b6 and B12, Vitamin D, DHEA, Folic Acid, Vitex and Ubinqunol (stronger form of CQ10)

I also am trying to drink a Kale juice, Apple Cider Vinegar (with the "mother" in it - whatever that means) and Grapefruit juice (helps with cm) every day - not together though...

I am a walking experiment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and my hubby takes fertiliaid for men... ONE PILL :haha:

thats about right, ever the minimalistic arent they? :dohh:ooh what helps with cm, grapefruit juice. Thats what i need, if ive noticed something over the past few months its my minimal amount of cm.....i used to get loads!.....right, going juice shopping tomorrow :haha: does it have to be juice or can it be just grapefruit? X

good question - I don't know - I bought 100% white grapefuit juice (it was the only one I could find that was 100% juice) I cannot say for sure whether it works - but loads of ladies on here swear by it... so I am trying it this month... I still have another 9-10 days before O so I guess I will know soon enough!!!

so many natural remedies out there - people just don't know about it... that is one good thing I have received from joining this website... lots of good home remedies!!!

it will be all worth it to give my DH his first child... FX!!!!

I also use pre-seed to help the :spermy: get where they need to go and seriously contemplating soft cups now too...

aww I know, this site was a godsend when i first joined....i. Joined in 2010 when my hubby was waiting for his vasectomy reversal....i got alot of help, but realised there wasnt that much out there, so i set up a number of threads, including the VR wags group thread which is still used now by people going through the same thing....funnily enough i didnt have any prob getting pregnant then, even when hubby had virtually no sperm with very poor motility  and pregnant last year first time of trying...ended in MC but the getting pregnant part wasnt a prob....but less than a year later, something has changed  hubbyha s 4 from precious marriage so our daughter was his 5th and we became at grandad for the first time last week! Eek....im still in my 20s!! Lol....(i say that but im 30 later on this year):haha:... He's 18yrs older than me, been together 11.5yrs lol. Have tou got a journal, id love to keep up with ya journey on there! mine is in my sig xxx

No I don't have a journel... not sure I would keep up with it... It is something I will think about...

My husband and I got married last year in March but we have been together for 13 years in June. I have two kids from my previous marriages but he has none.
I haven't had one single BFP... not even a faint hint of a second line!!! But I have really low amh and he has 0% morphology (great numbers and motility but all mis shaped) as of right now we are choosing not to do any fertility treatments - had a bad experience with our local FE and he wouldn't do what we wanted (no freezing) so we keep trying with supplements and prayer!!

aww well you seem to have all bases covered on the supplement front and with you having been pregnant before that must give you some hope, knowing that you can get pregnant! ive just had my pregnancy prediction from gail come through...i ordered it the other day...i had one from her when ttc my first, shortly after the VR....she said i would conceive dec/jan and bearing in mind hubby had inly had the op in sept (it was nov) i was very sceptical "yer right whatever" i thought.....but she was right. She predicted a girl and i had a girl xxx so that will be a nice bit of hope...it was april i conceived last year so it will be nice if i do eventually get my jan baby which would have been this year...we'll see.....

I got some grapefruit juice, but i read you cant take it alongside prescribed medication as it does something that upsets it....do you know how it works alongside the supplements we're on? xx
