Just wondered what everyone does with warming up babie's formula - or not...

I started off warming them with my first, but at night time it drove me mad waiting for it to warm up in the bottle warmer, and so I just made them up fresh with cooled, boiled water (not been in the fridge or anything).

I did the same with all of my babies, but mentioned this to another mum with a tiny LO the other day, and she looked at me like I was a reincarnate of Hitler!

I slightly warm Lennon's bottles simply because when he was born it was freezing and I didnt like the idea of him having cold milk in cold weather,I know thats a bit silly

When Ophelia was born though (in the summer) she always had room temperature bottles xx

Jacob has room temp bottles but he does prefer them a little warmer, if I have time I do try to warm them a little for him.

I think people of the older generations all feel the same about this. Surprised if a mum of our generation did though as I thought it was common knowledge now that you didn't have to heat them. All my older relatives are gobsmacked. " You what?" Haha makes me laugh.

Max has always had room temperature bottles from day one. I always wanted to do it like this so was super happy when the formula we were given in hospital was also room temperature.

I always warm LO's. Well it always gets put in the bottle warmer/a jug of boiling water, depending on how much he screams decides on how long it stays in :haha:

At night I put a bottle in the warmer when I go to bed. On zero though, just leaving the warmer plugged in keeps the water warm, so when I get up its the perfect temperature to just feed him straight away

Edit: I only put the water in the warmer, I don't put the milk in for anyone that might think I give my LO formula thats hours old

I warm them up slightly as she doesnt like them at room temperate or cold

Edward won't take them too cold. He spits it back at me. So warm here xx

Harrison wont take them cold, he will just scream lol

Dylan will happily drink cold formula, except when ill. Unfortunately he then pukes half of it back up.... so for the sake of my laundry costs, I warm it.

Omar takes both. But I prefer giving him warm bottles as he's a bit windy. But as it takes forever to finish one bottle, I just give him the remains at room temperature.

My LO doesn't mind room temp or warmed up but I often warm them so they aren't freezing cold out've the fridge.

Evie takes hers warm. She hates cold bottles! She'll take them, but reluctantly, pulling faces, fussing etc and she's always much sickier and windier after cold bottles.

Ollie will drink either room temp or warmed i warm them tho i find he finishes his bottle easier xx

Lily won't take warm milk! I have to cool it down to room temp first. I think it's because I used to only make them with pre-boiled, room temp water, so that's what she got used to. Now I just do that at night, and during the day boil just enough fresh water to mix the powder, then add preboiled room temp water to fill it up the rest of the way. But they come out warm that way... and if I don't cool it down under the tap until it's at least as cool as room temp, she screams when I try to give it to her!

Eloise will take it either way but seems to drink warm milk faster
