Warming up bottle in Microwave?

I only microwave mine (a 6 ounce) for 18 seconds and then add the powder and shake.

About making up in batches : Are the bottles not sterilised you are giving to your lo's? Cos it says on our steriliser that it'll stay sterile for 3 hours max - how can you make them up in batches and know no bacteria is forming?

We would love to make up a days worth but the m/w said not to and plus the 3 hour sterile thing...

And we warm up the cartons by putting the bottle in the microwave sterileser for a minute as it's still hot(1 bottle steriliser thing)

my steriliser also says max 3 hrs, I sterilise them and put them back together with the teats and lids as soon as the cycle has finished. Once the lids are on I think they stay sterile. I havent been warming in the micro but think I will be after reading this thread!
