spam/phishing email from paypal asking me to answer questions about my account or they will suspend it, re conversation within my account? stupidly i opened it and it just looked like a random questionaire, at this point i became suspicous and closed it and sent it to paypals spam email. They confim it was a phishing attempt!

This also happened when i got an email asking if i would like to cancel the recent payment from my paypal acc to skype, but the computer picked up and wouldnt let me open the link, god i am thick sometimes but they do look real.

Beware ladies robbing gits are rife atm

i had this recently too :-( fortunatly it cam eup in my spam mail so i knew something wasnt right and just deleted it

Whenever I get these I always click 'reply' and you can guarantee the email address is laughable! x

I've had a few emails saying my account has been limited and I need to click the link and answer the questions to sort it out, I never click them.

I clicked on the link there and it just shut down didnt go anywhere infact it did it open on a new tab, it was ur other message telling us what happened, I didnt know how u do did tht lol thats cool - paypal is always doing this obviously it looks genuine but its really not nightmare, Ive had a lot of emails from them this year look realistic but aint the actually paypal very worrying

It's frightening the lengths that people will go to to rip people off. Thanks for this thread, makes everyone more aware so hopefully no-one will be conned like this xx

my other half keeps getting an email from me asking him to go to this site so he kept having a go at me saying why do yo keep semdimg me daft emails lol i had to show him my sent items so he knew it want me it turned out it was an illegal pharacist (sp?) online trying to sell him viagra and all sorts of stuff for his "cholestrol problems" pmsl he doesnt even have cholestrol problems they also offered antidepressants lol we tried to report them but didnt know how to go about it

god knows how they did it but when he recieved the emails they actually said leah goodwin wants you to look at this n ive never seen the site before in my life

I get emails from every bank there is, saying there is a problem with my card, despite the fact I only have an account with one bank :haha: xx

I got this email too, luckily I mentioned it to my DH before I opened it and he told me it was more than likely phishing n told me not to open it. I have been getting lots of phishing emails lately since I've joined loads of baby websites (I don't mean this one!).
