I had my baby at 3pm today! It was such a fast labour, went really well at home. Born weighing 9 pound 1, no tears . Lost a litre of blood so got transferred to hospital afterwards. My iron levels are still great so will go home in the morning. Feel much better after this birth than my first, way less achy and tired. Xxx

Still nothing fun happening over here. Just got three little baby contractions but I'm not even giving them a second thought. In fact they are just making me angry. I want to be in agonizing pain! Is that too much to ask for? Haha never thought I'd be wishing for that so much.

Oh I'll probably be last!! I am having quite painful contractions today, but I'm just not getting my hopes up. I'll carry on with my day and just hope they get closer together...

Just came back home from hospital. I've been having back pain but its mostly the fact that my belly is constantly hard that worried me. Well baby is facing the front which explain back pain (back contractions...no wonder I couldn't feel period cramps up front) but I'm still 3cm and back pain (contractions) stop when we went to the hospital!!!! Now I'm so sore in the hips and down south she really hurt me! Back pain came back once once we got home. Argh its so confusing and upsetting! i guess they are not regular?! Belly is hard because its all baby in there and his movements seems to upset uterus which causes it to tighten. Oh well. More waiting I guess

Hi ladies do you mind if I join you? I'm 40+1 today, have had my first sweep (if you can call it that) at 39+6 and was told my cervix is still very high, long, starting to soften a little but not much, and completely closed she did manage to reach to manipulate it slightly which made me bleed a little but that was it. I'm booked in for another sweep but not until next Thursday and if that doesn't work THEN my midwife will book my induction!!!! I seriously hope I don't have to wait that long because I am huge and baby has been measuring big from day 1! Feeling very mis managed, it's scary. Oh and it's my first too

Danielle - ugh that's no good! Did baby roll into a back to back position recently? My LO has been tucked up with her spine along my left side for months. I'm so afraid she'll twist just the right way and go back to back on me.

Welcome Chicky! Hope your sweep works for you. I had mine about 20 hours ago and have had no signs yet. I go back in on Tuesday, will be 41+1, to get another strip and get another US. I have a feeling they will use the word induction by that point to get me preparing for that mentally. Baby girl please come soon!!

I'm starting to get really depressed that things haven't happened yet. I don't know why as I knew from the beginning there was a chance I would go over (had longer cycles). But I was seriously hoping she would be here by now. Its taking such a mentally exhausting toll on me.

I'm 5 days over today. Was due on the 10th. Had my first strip yesterday but nothing has happened since. Going back in Tuesday. They haven't mentioned induction yet but I'm sure it'll come up here soon.

Yea I was wondering if she'd give my DH the ultimate Fathers Day present. Lol. Who knows I guess there's still a chance for that. But I'm not feeling any inklings today either. I'm convinced she's never going to come.

It's so annoying,why give me a date for induction but not tell me how I'm progressing? lol makes no sense to me. Ah noway! I don't envy you,I'm losing my mind as it is waiting for him to arrive Well there is still hope! I lost my plug thismorning & that's really the only thing that's happened to make me think he's not too far off? Same here but I've been feeling like that since 38 weeks

Well I'm definitely in early labour. Have been for about 12 hours already contractions are still irregular so I'm not going in yet but they are starting to really hurt! Somehow because its my second I thought this bit would be faster. Ho hum. At least there's a chance I'll have my baby by tomorrow

Slow going I don't know whether to just give up and rest (except when I get a contraction) or keep pacing the living room. Its 10:30pm and I feel pretty tired. They are longer apart now so I just dont know if this is going to go anywhere any time soon. Good thing this is my last because I am destined for slow labours
