Was due 8th june, anyone else want to join me in the waiting game?

Slow going :nope: I don't know whether to just give up and rest (except when I get a contraction) or keep pacing the living room. Its 10:30pm and I feel pretty tired. They are longer apart now so I just dont know if this is going to go anywhere any time soon. Good thing this is my last because I am destined for slow labours :dohh:

I'd say if the movement isn't causing them to regulate or intensify, then go get some rest hun! If this is indeed Early Labor you will want that store of energy, both mentally and physically.

Cally - Welcome to the waiting game!

Itsme - I think that this is it for me. I'm doom to wait until induction which is June 21st. I'm seeing my doctor on Monday, and I can't wait to see what she'll have to say. I had a good night sleep, no more back pain. But I've sore in the lower back and hips. I don't think he's completely back to back yet. I can feel his back on my right side, cuz all the punches and kicks I only feel them on left side of belly. Plus, I feel the pressure a lot more on right side (in the legs). There has to be something I can do to make him turn? Hopefully he will before I go into labor.

Greenlady - Argh that is frustrating!! Our bodies are so complicated sometimes, why can it not be black and white?! Everyone would just be the same and then we would definitely know lol. Hopefully you won't have much longer to wait.

Danielle, sorry it all stopped. In a way I'd rather that than this slow labour that goes nowhere. I think you can try to spend some time on your hands and knees today, he might turn now but if not they usually do during labour.

I've given up and am in bed. Still getting contractions but they are definitely slower between and perhaps even less intense. What a rubbish start ;(

Maybe it's your body getting in gear but telling you to get some rest and once you wake up it might pick up and start that way? I know our body can do weird things, I hope you can get some sleep in case coming early morning hours, it's the real thing starting up.
I don't know how I would have been able to go into labor last night if it was the real thing lol. In a way I'm kind of happy I got send home and had a good night sleep. I was so exhausted.

I'll try the all fours but you do nothing after? You just go down on knees and hands and that's it? I'm guessing you stay in that position for a while too.

Lol yeah that would be nice, a contraction every 10 mins makes it a bit hard though. I'm snoozing a bit in between

Yeah just lean over a ball or something, just hang out on all fours :haha: Have a look at the spinning babies website too for tips on turning a posterior baby

Danielle, I've also heard all fours helps encourage baby to roll out to the correct position. As far as after, I'd say its just a matter of maintaining good posture. Avoid slouching or reclining, which can encourage baby to roll back around. If you have a yoga ball I think that helps keep you in a good position. That's about all I can input in regards to that. I'm so scared that I'll end up having to make the decision to induce and I really don't want to have to do that. So I'll be hoping you don't have to either and that we all go here in the next 2 days!!

Greenlady I'm glad you are getting some sleep. Looking forward to hearing an update from you when you wake up. Sorry this has all been so mentally agonizing for you. :(

I got terrible sleep last night. Only 4 hours. My lady bits feel more sensitive this morning and I've lost a bit more of my plug this morning. I've been feeling more frequent tightening sensations today with more pressure so I'm hoping and praying its something moving along. But as usual, not getting my hopes up. My mom, who is in town waiting, is taking me to the mall today to get me walking and get my mind off it all. Hopefully it helps!

Thanks for the warm welcome ladies :flower:

Greenlady hope you manage to get some sleep in! I have a feeling those contractions will be waking you up soon! :hugs:

Oh!! Hi Chicky :hi: I miss your post, so sorry :hugs:
Welcome in the group! We are still waiting for our little bundle, hopefully it won't be long.

Oh that's ok it's been busy in here today! Lets hope this weekend one of us gets to meet our beautiful little bundle! :hugs:

I had my baby at 3pm today! It was such a fast labour, went really well at home. Born weighing 9 pound 1, no tears :). Lost a litre of blood so got transferred to hospital afterwards. My iron levels are still great so will go home in the morning. Feel much better after this birth than my first, way less achy and tired. Xxx

Congratulations! :happydance: Wow, no tears too, I needed stitches and mine was nowhere near 9 lbs. Looking forward to pics :flower:

All that early labour led to a fast active labour. Baby girl was born in the water at 9:41am today (16th) weighing 3.014 kgs only 1 gram less than her sister. I was ready to be sent home still in early labour when I was found to be 6cm, and she was here about 1.5 hours later. I used just a tens machine then gas and air for the last half hour in the pool. I had stitches for a 2nd degree tear too. While I was having skin to skin after first feed she did a big meconium poo and a wee on me :haha:

Hope you guys all get your bundles soon!! Xxxx

Congrats Greenlady!!! She's finally here!

I'm off to bed...good night everyone

Anything to report anyone??

Me, nothing lol. Very sore lower back and I have my last doctor's appointment tomorrow morning.

Congrats greenlady!! Hope you're feeling ok

hope everyone else gets to meet their baby soon xxx

Awesome news Greenlady!! Congratulations!

But ah I'm so jealous! :)
Will be 41 weeks tomorrow. Still no baby or even sign of baby here. Today is Fathers Day and I thought it would be cool to wake up in labor and have a baby for DHs first Fathers Day. But it doesn't look like that will happen. I have another NST and US scheduled for Tuesday if she's still not out by then. Looks like I'll be making that appointment. :(
