heya girls,

tonite me n hubby had some nookie.... it was sooo needed i'd started to feel like me n hubby had a big hole between us, sex used to me an almoost daily occurunce for us .....
til i had a scan on 7th may where they couldnt see heartbeat but cos dates were unknown the did re-scan on 21/5 and there i discovered that i'd had a mmc, started bleeding that night n it reduced to spotting on 29/5-30/5

so was it alright to of had sex tonite? it felt right, normal. no pain no bleeding after no spotting, just good honest bloomin sex,

but now im thinking should we have waited a bit longer til after spotting had finished?

Im sorry for your loss. I had the same thing happen to me.. didnt know until the scan.. my dr told us to wait until after the bleeding stop.. because you run the risk of infection.. however we did not listen.. and i did not get infected.

What's done is done, don't punish yourself for that. Trust your body, if it felt right then I think that's ok. I was told too to wait for all bleeding to stop before having sex, but that's their rule. Something about the cervix still being dilated. I was told to be more careful of my emotions around sex than anything, don't do it unless it feels right. For you, I think it sounds like it was the right thing. Just keep an eye on everything as you usually would after sex, that's all.

I think as long as you had no pain then it should be ok. Just watch out in case you get any infection.

Personally having sex scares the sh*t out of me right now, its been a month since I lost Gillian, and I could do the deed just now anyway as suspected infection, but it really does scare me doing it again.

Not anything against OH, but I think cause of the trauma "down there" took, it is a daunting thought.

We had originally been told to wait for at least 3 weeks before any nookie to make sure there was no risk of infection. DH made it a week and a half and there were no problems from it (save I was really dry). As long as the bleeding has stopped, it should be ok.

thnks for ur replies girls, my bleedings had stopped a few days agao n it all felt right, in fact in was fan-fooking--tastic, i'd missed it lol
