Was scared of chemical. First signal sucks for progression.... pics included

Ok, so I thought that the wal-mart 88cent tests were going to be a cheap and easy way to watch for progression in this pregnancy, for those of you who don't know my story, I have only managed to become pregnant 3 times since 2008, all three pregnancies ended very early, tests never darkened, then got lighter and so on. SO, this morning when I took a first signal, I was heartbroken, the line was faint, lighter than yesterday, and I just knew that this one was ending badly for me to. But, I decided, just one more try, I was going to try an FRER, and Just look at this amazingly perfect, beautiful, darkest line I've ever ever had!!! I'll also include my "progression" or lack thereof from my first signal tests.

That frer couldn't get any better and I see progression in the others all the best to you for the next 9 months x

My frer is amazing! Lol. But all the googling I did when my first signals weren't getting darker told me nothing, so I'm hoping a desperate scared poas'er will stumble across this when the same happens to them. The first signal and frer were taken same day. First signal with 2mu, frer with random diluted, midday pee.

I think the progression actually looks quite good for cheapies! Plus the dye varies massively in them! I've driven myself loopy testing progression this last week

I tested with FS with this pg and was getting lines so faint at 12dpo, I thought they were evaps. DH thought so too but me being poas crazy I needed another test to back up my bfns so I did an FRER. I got a faint line on that too but it looked gray so figured BFEvap #3. (DH concurred.) Buuutttt, my poas nuts brain needed to see the words 'not pregnant' to convince me fully so I stuck a CB digi in the cup and was totally shocked to see Pregnant 1-2 come up. I'm now 28 weeks. I can tell you it took almost a week after my missed AF to get a decent visible line on those dumb FS tests even though my CB digi was progressing and my FRERs were getting darker.
