Watching tv...

Our TV is on all day. But summer doesnt sit in front of it all day we play with toys and run about chasing eachother lol

Its not about the amount of tv, just the older-boy kindof tv he prefers to watch now

He does jump off the sofa shouting 'to infinity & beyond!' and that blame is squarely placed at Buzz Lightyear I think judging by some replies that he will be fine. If I do notice any changes (punching/karate kicks) tv will be swiftly cut off or turned to the terrible Balamory arghhhhhh :/

we usually have Milkshake on in the mornings because Adam likes Peppa Pig and Thomas, but it usually goes off at 9am. occasionally I'll put on Show Me Show Me but I'm a bit bored with it now (and Adam isn't fussed). his long-time favourite is Charlie & Lola but we watch that on my laptop. other than that, he loves Countdown. which obviously isn't a kids' show but he's fascinated by it and repeats the names of the letters, so I figure it might teach him something. he's never shown any interest in "older kids' tv", not that he's probably ever seen it, and I'm happy to keep it that way while he's still so young.

Hannah's a girl (obviously ) so I think that probably makes a difference. She mostly watches Jake and the Neverland Pirates or Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse. She used to watch Dora but Swiper scares her and sometimes she watches Diego. I'd love to introduce her to Scooby Doo but honestly I think it'd scare her

My eldest loves Dora The Explorer, The Doodlebops, Fiifi & the Flowertots & Fireman Sam. With my youngest its Team Umizoomi, Bubble Guppies, Peppa Pig & Ben & Holly.
But their all time favorites at the moment are Cartoonito Kareoke, Cartoonito Tales, Waybaloo & In the Night Garden. They can spend hours acting out the characters between themselves!
They watch a dvd in the mornings at b/fast, and then only watch tv from 4pm till 6pm before their supper.
