Hi

Just wanted to post quickly to see if anyone had any advice. We have just found out that our drinking water has been contaminated by oil and we had 40 micrograms per litre of Hydrocarbons in there. Im frantic with worry about the baby. No one can really tell me if there has been a significant risk although they say to humans the risk at that level is minimal. Ive had a scan and he looks within normal limits.

Just cant stop worrying now, has really taken all excitement we had away.

Anyone know anything about these things??

Hiya hun, my advice would be to contact the water company and demand a copy of the scientific report regarding the contamination. They should be able to give this in writing and then you can pass this on to a GP or even better a consultant at the hospital. Hopefully then , once the docs have all the info they can advise you better ... good luck and dont let the water company fob you off xxxx
