We can't agree

DH and I have been over and over the baby names lists. Well I guess I should say I have been over them and he just listens to me ramble on. We're having a little girl and we really love unusual names. We especially like mythological names. Our baby girl has her middle name already so we are struggling on agreeing on a first name.

As you can see it's pretty difficult for me to get him to like anything. My brother and his girlfriend are due in April and they already have their names picked out so we have to make sure they don't sound alike. For a girl they chose Clara-Bella Louise MacLean. It sounds so pretty and suits there style so much.

If anyone has some input good or bad please let me know. We are having so much trouble. Thanks in advance

I love a lot of those names (and have several of them on my own list!) but I am also drawn towards mythological and unusual names. I ended up taking Ariadne, Freya, and Odessa off of our list because I think they are too obviously mythological (or in the case of Odessa everyone just says "Oh, isn't that a town in Texas?"), but that is just a personal preference and they are all lovely!

Wow thanks for your input everyone. It's nice to see different sides to each name. Especially if your trying to narrow down a list. DH and I decided we are going to make a top 3 list and then just wait till baby girl is born before we have a final decision. Right now the top 3 list consists of:

Freija
Arianna
Eudora

Although even that is still up for discussion. He wants to add Odessa and I want to add Ariadne. Maybe it'll turn into a top 5 list. lol
