Yippeee!!!! Today Anna was moved to our local hospital :happydance:

In her Super Transport Incubator

There was a cancelation down this end, and room for her with a cpap machine 'just in case' (they only have a few) but she has been off it for a few days now anyway.

Me, OH mum and my son had just got to sainsburys, next to the edinburgh bypass, for some lunch and OH rang his mum to talk to me - I had knocked my fone and it was off

Simon the nurse who been looking after Anna for the last 3 day shifts had been trying to call.
I had half an hour to get to the hospital before she got moved!!!

I had to leave son and OH mum in the waiting room because he had been sick on the way up. But I got to sit next to Anna for half an hour to wait on the ambulance getting ready, she was just sleeping so I stroked her head and told her she was never getting a minutes peace once she gets down Lol

Byeee, see you at the other end :)

We had to wait on sons dad collecting him, he is off to his grans for his ''2nd birthday!''
Then we stopped on the way down to eat a bit of lunch (grabbed quickly from wh smith).

The ''beef tub''

fantastic view although there was a dead sheep about 100 yards down the road and it Stank!!

But we still managed to get to dumfries about 15min before the ambulance They had went a weird way, and had to stop to give Anna a feed.

Arriving into the ''isolation room'

Today is the first time I saw her in a vest and it is still too big! Lol

Dumfries hospital is sooo different!! It will take a bit of getting use to but I am actually looking forward to it- we have to check the feeding tube ourselves (drawing milk out with syring to test it on a strip to see if there is acid on it it changes colour, if it doesnt, the tube isnt in right).
We are expected to do all the feed ourself, that means at the moment she is on her last bottle of expressed milk, and having 12ml of that and 12ml formula 2hrly.
She has her own wee sterilising tub and we have to sort all that out too.
Once she has settled in we are allowed to take her out the incubator (once cleared with the nurse) for cuddles.
She will get move to a heated cot when she gets to 4lb.
Tomorrow we are starting her on bottles as she was sucking her wee dummy with some force tonight!

I am SO pleased, after today I wouldnt have seen her again until monday, but now I am going on the bus with my sister tomorrow, OH coming after work.
I am going in with my gran on saturday, then on sunday OH nana and friend will drive up.
Then me and OH will go on monday.
My son is at his grans til tuesday but after that nana will have him whenever, I wont bring him to the hospital he has the attention span of a fly, never sits still and gets bored after 2 mins! Lol.

woooooooohooooooooo!!!! Well done all of you. A big step in the right direction! xxx

I am so pleased for you both. She looks beautiful

Thats great news, that shes been moved closer to you and you can see her more often x
