Sorry if this is a little personal or nosey, but how much did you ladies pay for your wedding photographers and what was included?

TIA :flower:

We paid £795 two years ago for two photographers (a husband and wife team, both professionals, no apprentice or assistant) from 9.30am - getting ready - until 6pm and cutting the cake. We got 2500 high resolution photos on a disc to do with as we wished. This was very important to us - didn't want to be tied to them for prints etc.

They definitely weren't the cheapest but we loved their style and really got on with them as people when we went to meet them. We got married at a pretty 'non-traditional' venue so wanted to be confident that the people we'd chosen would know how to shoot it and the examples of their work we saw were perfect.

We paid $500 for noon-8ish coverage with one photographer and all prints on a disk.

The photographer we have booked for out wedding is costing £800. He takes around 400 photos and puts them all on a disc. To have albums printed costs a lot more and we have people in the family who are amazing with that kind of thing, so didn't see the point in paying for it to be done. I thought it was quite pricey, but that seems to be the average price around here.

I paid £750 for a full day, 2 photographers and 2 disks with all copyrights. I wanted to have control over my pictures and print and distribute as I wished :)

We paid £1000 and we got an experienced photographer plus his trainee son, and his wife was also there to help with brolly's/dress/set up. This included pictures from getting ready to first dance, nearly 600 altogether and prints going onto a 60 page Italian leather photobook. He will design that too when we've chosen the pictures.

Well worth it but we have to pay for any prints we want extra, he was worth it though no regrets, our pictures are amazing!!

My cousin paid £800 for hers. It went from getting ready - the end of the reception. It included 1000 images , all on disk and copyrighted. And an album for her. He was very experienced.

She was offered - £350, for all images on a disk (500+) And an extra £50 for an album.. but this was a less experienced photographer trying to built up a portfolio. x

In April this year we paid £600 for all of the photos on a CD (unsure of how many there are, but there are lots on there) and a 20 page photo book which is just beautiful. We had her from getting ready in the morning until the first dance....

We paid £900 for a professional photographer. She was there from 10am-11pm (she was however also a guest!).
We got around 500 photos on a disk. We get to pick which ones we like out for a photo album book. We're also getting a mini wedding album for relatives.

We paid around £850 for the photos and we got a gorgeous album with 55 photos in. We paid £45 for a cd of the photos of the day along with songs of our choice. And £99 for a photo of us in a frame where guests could write congratulations messages round and that was then put in a proper frame for us :)

We got married 8 years ago just as digital was starting to become popular. Our photographer was with us from about 10am until we'd cut the cake - not sure what time that was. We then got an album with about 20 pages in it. We also got the disk with about 500 photos on it but we are unable to print off the disc as it's locked. That doesn't bother me as it's unlikely we would want them printed anyway. She also spent about 4 hours with us in total both before and after the wedding going through details and choices etc.

It cost us around £700 which was a reduced rate as we introduced a different style of album to her which she then was able to sell on to other couples.

I paid £400 and it was my friends husband that done mine..BIG mistake...wish i paid double for a professional instead of hearing my friend rave about him and he turn up and it was like having a kid using his dads camera for the first time. Thankfully my Dad, hubbys Dad, my bridesmaid boyfriend and a few others friends took brilliant pics!

We paid £800 and got from about half 10-7pm, photos on a discs and an album. I liked the fact he was quite modern and not your 'cliche' wedding photographer.
