we havn't written our own vows as such. You have to say the legal vows first with the opportunity to say your own in between. We are instead incorporating two readings by my sister and my friend (both bmaids) and then the registrar will give the congregation the definition of marriage and what it means and then after the giving of rings we are saying a little sentance each of what we promise each other-oooooh and also you are legally allowed to change what you say to each other when you give rings so we have added a few words on to the norm. xx
were writing our own. OH is going for funny serious. I am just going for serious. Just talking about why we love one another and the promises were making to eachother.
Think I've done it! Pinched a few bits off the internet and added bits of my own in
"Whenever I think of you I smile. I love knowing that every morning I will be woken by your kiss. I am forever thankful for having found you and having the chance to build a future with you. I promise to always be the best Mum I can be to our children even when our parenting views differ. I promise I will always be faithful and to love you with all my heart. From this day onwards I am your wife and you my husband, and though true love never did run smooth I know that with you by my side those bumps in the road will be so much easier to bear. I love you so much and forever will."
