Isla's wee smells quite strongly of ammonia this last day and a half. She is feeding as usual - just breast milk. Only thing that has been any different to usual is that she had her 2nd lot of immunisations on Monday morning.
Can anyone shine any light on why this might be happening?

My MIL tells me that their wee smells more like ammonia when they're teething so maybe that's it? That said, Aisling's wee has been smelling really really strongly of ammonia for a couple of months now, she can't be constantly teething!

Adam's wee has been strong smelling a fair bit the last few months, too, I put it down to slight dehydration because of the warm weather.

La's stinks of ammonia! I am strip washing a lot to get rid of the smell!

AAh, just wondering, maybe its got something to do with us using cloth nappies? Perhaps the gel in sposies absorbs odours and in this warm weather, wee is going to begin to smell really quickly so 3 hours in a nappy is going to produce a smell......just a thought!
