Week after D&C and bleeding and cramping more than before

I had a D&C on the 23rd and tomorrow it will have been a week. I bled like a normal period for the first couple days and then it went to spotting and then almost nothing yesterday morning so I thought it was wrapping up. Today I've been bleeding more than I was before and there have been large clots and I've been cramping a lot more than before too. I was told I should only bleed for about a week. I'm not sure if this is normal or not?

Maybe give a call to the hospital where you got its done . They will give advice over the phone . Maybe normal or could be some infection or retained tissue

I also wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss . I had a dnc after 13 weeks of pregnancy in 2012 on Christmas Eve . It was very sad time . 4 years on and I have two wonderful children . Boy and a girl . I'm now 44 I wish you all the best . Please take time to grieve and heal . Take care of yourself xxxx

I'm so sorry for your loss. I bleed for a week and 1/2 after my D&C. You're bleeding is suppose to taper off, so you should definitely go back in and see a doctor or call the nursing advice line. I hope that's what you did? I hope all is well. Sometimes they can miss some residual stuff in the uterus and you have to go back in, that happened to a friend of mine.
