Im sure this is asked all the time..

Im curious to what everyone weighed before pregnant and what you weigh currently.

When I go to the mother in laws me and oh weigh as he is loosing on slimming world and well we are just curious on me.

I started at 8st 7ib iam now 10st 13ib and ill be honest it upaet me last night as I dont binge eat or eat rubbish :-( is this normal or excessive xx

I started at the same sort of weight as you (don't know exact weight as I don't tend to weigh myself) I weighed myself a week or two ago and was 9 stone 8. I am a bit behind you and I'm sure I've gained more since then. If you google pregnancy weight gain tracker there's a site that comes up where you can see if you're on track for the 'ideal' weight gain. I'd say don't worry too much as long as you're not over eating or eating loads of rubbish. A lot of the weight gain is things like baby, placenta, extra fluids in your body etc. if you do put on a bit of weight it doesn't matter you can always lose it afterwards. The main thing is that you're growing a healthy baby.

I started out at 8st 2lbs and i'm now 9st 10lbs and only 16 weeks. I gained weight rapidly with my daughter so its looking like its the same again. I hate it but it is all bump which does make me feel a little better. My MW told me not to worry about it but my consultant said it was due to eating. I know its not due to eating because i'm not eating a great deal.

Thanks ladies.
Just got so upset thinking omg thats a leap and a bit, one of them emotional moments. My weight does only seem to be on my bump ao fingers crossed xx

I started out at 60kg, and at 13 weeks was 62.
I feel like a cow, even though I know the weight gain is OK.

I was closer to 8 stone before I was pregnant. I was only 6.6 stone a year before we found out and I made big improvement on putting weight on.

Weighed myself the other day and I'm 9.5 stone. I've never been more than a few pounds over 8 stone, ever, so I was in a lot of shock. Although saying that baby is getting big now so I can't be that surprised really! But I guess because of being so underweight shortly before it's a shock.

Surprisingly no stretch marks yet! But I am only 22 weeks!

I started off at 10st 5ish (I'm 5ft 5") and 3 weeks ago (I think) I was 10st 10lbs. I'm sure I've put on more since then. It seems to be my boobs that have grown, and my bump is slowly getting there!

I started off at 69kg and haven't put any weight on yet (well as of last time I weighed myself) but I had pretty bad nausea and food aversions throughout 1st tri.

Last pregnancy I started out a good bit heavier 79kg and never gained (nausea and food aversions again), although at that weight I didn't need to!

26 weeks and a stone and a half - Put on 3stone with DS, and haven't been eating healthily this time around either. Dammed if I'm going to put on another 1.5 stone in 13 weeks (she says lol)

I started at 9stone 8lb, i'm now 10stone 6lb. Think we all sound in the normal for how much to put on xx

I started out at 11st 13lbs....gained nothing in first 16 weeks...now at 26+3 I'm 12st13lbs.
so I gained a stone so far and starting third tri by the end of this week :)

..oh, and I'm 5'-6"

I weighed myself yesterday morning and was down a pound. I do eat junk occasionally, but I've never eaten more healthily or been more active than I have been since becoming pregnant.

I started it overweight and my doctor had congratulated me in not gaining weight so I guess I'm okay! Plus during my 20 week scan my babies weight was 6 days ahead of where he should be.

I started out at around 156lbs and now I'm at 148. I was overweight when I started (according to BMI) so I'm trying to eat healthier and take walks.

Sorry I don't know stone or kg...

But I started at 120 lbs and am now at 150! So I've gained 30 lbs. -.-

My problem was that I just came off of a crash diet before falling pregnant. Had lost 25 lbs in a month and a half... So my body just took in every calorie and held on for dear life. Lol.

I'm 20 weeks and have only gained 3 lbs but I have gained those 3 in the last 2 weeks so after not gaining weight for ages I reckon I will gain pretty rapidly for the rest of my pregnancy and end up gaining 30ish-lbs. My pre-pregnancy bmi was 26 so I am recommended to only gain 15-25lbs

I started out a bit underweight for my height at 119 lbs/54kg (8 stone, 7 lbs, is what I think that works out to for UK measurements). I'm nearly 16 weeks, and have only gained 3 lbs so far. I'm hoping this is okay, as I've been recommended to put on around 30-40 lbs! I was pretty sick for a lot of first tri, so maybe I'll gain rapidly now that I'm not so nauseous...

I'm 5'4" ish, and started out at about 10st 10lb (150lb), which is a few lb overweight for my height.

I'm now 11st 13lb (167lb), so 17lb up, at 24 weeks. More than I wanted to have put on at this point, but most of it seems to be my bump - my bum and thighs are a bit bigger, but otherwise not much is different.

I had the sort of m/s and nausea that felt better if I ate. Nightmare :( I didn't have an empty stomach at any point from weeks 6-17, and I think it shows now in how much I've put on.

I'd like to keep the gain at about 1lb per week or less from now, so that would be another 16lb providing I go to 40 weeks...meaning a total gain of 33lb. I'd be delighted with that! Now I don't have to eat like a maniac any more, and can do a bit of exercise, hopefully that's a realistic goal.

I don't think any of us sound like we've turned into the Michelin Man or anything, it all sounds pretty normal - I've seen a vast range of weight gains in ladies on here, from those who lost to those who put on 100lb+ and then lost it all. I think as long as you're not stuffing your face with junk and using being pregnant as an excuse to eat for two full-size adults, it's all good

I'm in the US so I hope I converted my weight from lb to stone correctly :)

Pre-pregnancy: 163 lb or 11.6 stone
17 weeks preg: 164 lb or 11.7 stone

I started out about 222lbs prepregnancy. Not entirely sure as I didn't weigh myself weekly before becoming pregnant, and didn't know I was pregnant until I was almost 7 weeks along.

I'm almost 20 weeks now, and have been steadily weighing 214 for the last 6 weeks or so. I had very bad MS and many food aversions so I lost weight. But I've held steady, so doctor isn't worried about it.

Pre-pregnancy I was at 103 lbs, now at 14 weeks I'm only 105 lbs.
