Just been reading a similar thread about how much weight people lost in the days/weeks after birth and now I'm curious..

I haven't gained any weight yet during my pregnancy and obviously will lose weight after giving birth..so question is has anyone else been the same and ended up losing weight that wasn't put on during pregnancy (like weight they had before?). My midwife did say if I carried on the way I'm going I will end up lighter by the time I've gave birth..

Sorry if it doesn't make sense it sounds easier when I say it out loud than when typing lol ..TIA x

I've heard of a few ladies (on here and IRL) who didn't put on much weight during their pregnancy and then with the weight they lost immedietly after birth (the babies weight, placenta and amniotic fluid) left them weighing less than before they were pregnant. I'm not jealous at all... :haha:

lol yeah thats what I'm hoping for as before I fell pregnant I needed to lose around 2.5- 3 stone so hoping with not gaining now I may end up lighter than pre-pregnancy :) hehe x

I lost 2.5 stone with my last pregnancy :) due to servere sickness haha.. But it was amazing to come out of my pregnancy 2.5 stone lighter!! I needed the weightloss anyway

Last 2 pregnancies i gave birth at 11st ish and within a few days was 10st Which is actually 6lb lighter then my pre pregnancy weight with my 1st

If you haven't gained any then you've already 'lost' weight. No one escapes putting on weight when pregnant (baby, uterus, placenta, blood ect.) so if the scale hasn't changed you've likely lost 15+ pounds of body weight already that has been replaced by pregnancy related weight. You'll see the results after baby is born :)

Ahh yeah when you look at it that way you're right..thanks ladies thats put a smile on my face :D x
