Weird AF.

Hello ladies, this is going to be a TMI post, but I really need some advice. Me and DH were ntnp this month, was going to be actively trying starting in Feb. Well for starters my AF was a week late this month. I took a test and it was bfn, I took it way after AF was supposed to come so I know I'm def. Not pregnant as it would have been positive. I have weird cycles between 29 and 37 days. Well AF showed about 10 days ago. It started off light then got heavier, it was like this for 3 days, then stopped for 24 hours, started back up again really heavy and full of clots, was like that for another 2 days then stopped again for 24 hours. Then I started gushing blood again, real heavy and clotty lasted another day then stopped again. I was sitting here on the couch just now and started having mild cramps again, checked down there and I have brown spotting with brownish clots. This makes 10 days of on and off weird bleeding. My AF has NEVER acted this way. Always lasts between 5 and 6 days, light then heavy then light and stops. Never been like this weird off and on thing. I have also been really nauseated the past few days as well. Any insight would be appreciated.

I've had periods like that. There was a time where it would last 10 days. This past year or so, I would bleed for 3 days then skip a day. No bleeding at all. Then pick back up for 2 or 3 more days. Also, I've noticed over the years, the later I was, the heavier and clottier my period would be. I don't know why. I always assumed the clots were from build up in the uterus. But I don't know if that's a real thing.

Makes sense. It just kind of freaked me out a bit. Everything has finally stopped now. This was such a weird cycle for me. Went through a whole 18 count box of tampons. Hopefully I don't have another one this long and heavy again. Thanks for your input.

Sounds like an early mc. That's what mine was like in October. I had contraction like pains wrapping from my back to my front lower abdomen and back again and every time I went to go to the bathroom blood would just pour out of me like someone slit open my legs. I went to hospital and they said hcg would be too low to show up on pee test, but that they were sure that's what it was.
