Weird cycle on 1,000mg Metformin PCOS

Hello all! I am vert confused and am just looking for feedback! Ive been diagnosed with PCOS aince early teens..last few years have been TTC and no luck. Since we're focusing on wedding planning i decided to pause the TTC focus and focus more on bringing back my AF (would go years without unless induced by Provera) to my surprise a few weeks later I got my 1st AF no Provera in Jan! And just recently 82 days later on Mar 24 began spotting...i am still dealing with a very light flow and am wondering if this is somewhat normal? No cramps, just very mild lower back ache, frequent O pains on left side (O pains before this AF were felt on right side. I am on 1000mg of Metformin for 6 plus months..since seeing signs of major improvement i have upped to 1500mg and in 3 months will do 2000mg if needed.

I guess I am a little confused...are you asking if you are able to get a period by taking just Metformin alone? I think so cause I have a very similar thing happening to me....check out my post under TTC.

Yeah!! I have confirmed with my OBGYN that the metformin is regulating my cycles! Major progress!!! Thank you for the reply!
