Weird feeling just above my pubic bone...

Hello everyone,

Has anybody else ever felt a strange feeling just above their pubic bone/ beneath their belly button? I hadn't until the last few days. It's over to the left slightly & it comes & it goes. It's similar to the feeling when you're really nervous & your stomach flips over, it's not painful, although it's occasionally uncomfortable.

I highly doubt that I am pregnant as I have been off the pill since Nov 09 & haven't used any contraception since Sept 10. Around that time I started to spot from Ov to AF, which still happens now.

I am wondering if this is a symptom of fibroids but I've been googling it & it doesn't seem to be. Any ideas?

hey i dont know myself, but my friend told me she had the pains around that area when she was just pregnant,
when is your peroid due or are you late? x

Hello Mummy.wannabe,

I'm due in 3 days & I'm pretty sure that I'm not pregnant as I am spotting now like I normally do & my boobs are starting to get bigger and slightly tender. Basically all the same symptoms as per usual just with the additional of this peculiar sensation... It would be amazing though! I worry with this spotting that if I did manage to get pregnant that it wouldn't stick as the lining of my womb must be coming away.

people spot before peroid is due and thats the implantation, but looks like you will soon know either way hope you are, id love to have mine, im desperate for a baby, been nearly a year of trying now x

I've had the spotting for months now so it can't be implantation. I've got loads to do at work but I'm just sat on here on my iPhone cos I can't concentrate!! X

Yes definitely, I've been trying for 9 months now so we seem to be in the same boat. It does get frustrating. I'm only 26 but lots of my friends are older & on their 2nd pregnancy now, I'm really happy for them, but listening to people complain about pregnancy isn't my idea of fun at the mo! X

im 26 in a few weeks, yeah i know what you mean about people moaning, id love to moan about being pregnant, only 1 of my close friends has had a baby and she fell 1st month trying but shes supportive x
