Weird sound on doppler

I was listening to baby's heart beat today and while basking in happy and watching the bpm climb there was a weird loud "bloop" sound or something, it startled me thinking I hurt baby so I turned the doppler off really quick. What did I hear? Should I be worried?

It's probably just gas or weird digestion noises in your intestines. Sometimes I hear some really strange noises when I use the Doppler. Don't worry. Your baby is just fine.

I hear it on mine too. I swear it sounds like baby kicking the Doppler or something

It is probably the baby moving. When my midwife listened to the heartbeat there was a sort of thumpy noise and she said it was the baby kicking and moving around.

Sometimes when I move the Doppler it makes a weird noise, but sometimes the thuds can sound a bit like a bloop to me too! So quite possibly a kick or maybe baby did a big turn???

With how angry my digestion has been the past few days it wouldn't surprise me

Hmm, it wasn't the same as when I move the doppler around it was definitely a sound I hadn't heard before while using it. I hope it was baby making sounds rather than my stomach doing strange things lol!

It definitely could be the baby kicking. Sometimes I hear that 'bloop' and at the same time feel her kicking away

Ooh I sure hope it was baby kicking! Since we have a mw appointment tomorrow I won't bring out the doppler again, I hope we hear the sound again tomorrow so DH can hear it too

I hear weird noises all the time too, It's probably just kicking or moving!
I heard this weird whoosh once and then the HB got faint so the baby must have swam away. It's so neat!

During the scan when we saw how each little jab at the tummy made the baby move and jump, I'm assuming they're that active as well when a doppler is used.

Definitely sounds like a big kick to me my little one doesn't like being prodded by the doppler for too long and starts kicking at it and moving away!

Probably baby kicking or moving, mine always does it. I had to go in to hospital other night as i hadn't felt him move in two days, MW was listening on doppler and it sounded like he was kissing, you know when you blow kisses or do air kisses, thats the noise he made! lol x

I agree, it's probably baby moving. I had an appointment today and while they were listening, baby kicked the doppler pretty hard.
