I really need some advice, I’m 5 weeks pregnant and for the last week I’ve had on/off brown discharge with no pain. Today it has been pink watery, I’ve been quite crampy as well.. there hasn’t been any actual blood. Has anyone else experienced this or something similar? I am booked in for a scan in 2 days..

I had slight bleed at 11dpo but I think it was implantation. Had scan which showed sac and yolk at 5 weeks 3 days.
I have also had bleeding at 5 weeks which for me did not end well but it can be and is completely normal. Have you spoken to your GP? Xx

Yes, they did say it’s perfectly normal but sending my for early scan just to be sure.. there’s been no actual bleeding, agh early pregnancy is such a worrying time.

I had bleeds like you describe with my 2nd baby, he was completely healthy :) I also had a big bleed on this baby at 14 weeks, which was very worrying! This baby is also a boy, maybe I just bleed on boys?

If it's not bright red or accompanied with lots of pain I wouldn't worry! Cramping is normal in pregnancy as long as it is t painful! I'm 17 weeks and I cramp most mornings a long with a few tightenings, but baby is doing good in there!

Good luck I'm sure everything is okay, if the bleeding gets worse or your in pain, go straight to your a&e department x

Oh thank you so much for your reply, reading that does put my mind at ease :) I have slight cramping but nothing unbearable, spotting is only on toilet paper not even making it to liner. Fingers crossed it’s a sign of a boy, I never had spotting like this with my twin girls

Who knows hun every pregnancy is different I just tend to have a few more complications when carrying little men! Little trouble makers lol! What your describing doesn't seem to be concerning but if your worried give your EPAU a ring:)
