Weird taste /:

This has happened a few times,but no matter what I eat, even saltines, I have this weird taste in my mouth. Like I have been sucking on a penny for a hour. (Which I haven't)

Anything similar ??? And why?

It's called dysgeusia, it's pretty normal in pregnancy, I think if you have sour foods, or vinegary foods, pickles (LOL), it will help or brush your tongue that should help too. It will go away, I had it for a short time thought I was going nuts. It could be your prenatal vitamin to so you might want to try to switch it.

yep - it didn't go away for me until a week or 2 ago - the only thing that would work was lemon water.

I have had that in only one pregnancy, and it was awful, especially in first tri. Changing prenatal vitamins was the only thing that seemed to help.

I had this and nothing but sucking on candies seemed to help. I think it was worse than the morning sickness cause it lasted sooooo long.
