After being lazy with de fluffing 'down there' for a while I thought I'd best do it as I really didn't want a hairy delivery again
OMG I will not be doing that again in a hurry, even with a mirror my foof looks like a murder scene!! I couldn't/wouldn't ask hubby to help, shaving really isn't his strong point hence his big beard :haha:

Sorry if TMI. But how the hell do people manage to de fluff themselves at 30+ weeks pregnant without butchering it??

ouch :( im just going to send hubs down there with the clippers lol
x

I haven't tried yet. I might just leave it. DH isn't allowed to look down there during delivery anyway and I haven't felt like :sex: at all. So it doesn't matter much for me. I don't care if the nurses see me hairy!

LOL, I keep putting it off, but I know each day it is getting worse and worse :haha:

I've been trying to keep on top of the legs but even that tires me out. I'm ashamed to admit it but i've given up on the foofer... i trimed round the very edge last night after doing the legs and when i had a look when i got out of the bath it was a right mess!!! So hairy delivery for me i'm afraid!

I was going to borrow hubby's beard trimmer (without telling him) and just wash it with really hot water afterwards :) I though about buying myself one of those all in one razor/bikini trimmers but with all the baby stuff I've left to get I thought why bother just use his beard trimmer!

Ha ha this made me laugh!! To be honest I haven't tried to dehair down there recently and I'm thinking its not going to be an easy task. Dont want it to be a jungle down there when I go into labour though so I will definitely try at some point, and by then I doubt I'll be able to see much at all. Wouldn't ask my hubby, thats just not something I'm comfortable with.

i used veet hair remover, the spray one and stood with a mirror, had to do it 2 days in a row to get the bits i missed but its very tidy down there now, plan to do it again in a couple weeks and that should be me ready!

My trimmer died but I just bought a new one during the week. Ive just used it without any of the guides (for length) so its gone very short. Its also got a small head so was easier to do all over. Im just keeping it done once a week now and it will be fine

Its this one I got

i last de fluffed about 2 weeks ago and im putting it off again, i think im going to tomorrow! lol i just sit on the side of the bath to do it i dont find it too hard,
i was kind of inbetween hairy with alys when i gave birth! but i didnt really care to much if im honest

xxx

I tried keeping on top of it until it became...impossible!!!
I'm embarrassed to have a sweep because of how bad it must have got down there...bad enough when i'm in labour lol.
Asking my OH isn't an option either.

I try telling myself the MW's have seen it all before..

Well hopefully 1-3weeks growth won't be too bad

I haven't shaved for a couple of weeks but last time I was just really careful, used loads of shaving foam and hacked away so to speak lol

You've all made me laugh so much!!!

Good luck to all of you xxx

I am trying to time it...I don't want to be completely bald or too hairy...just abit

i treated myself to a bikini wax last week, usually do brazilian or hollywood wax but the last time i had one (in june) i broke out in a horrendous rash with little bumps and it was SO awful i swore i wasn't going to do that again being pregnant.. OH is home again on thurs and i'll probably get him to give me a trim :) he's good like that!
i def recommend a bikini wax treat for all mama's.. and while you're at it, get a pedicure! i did that too and man, was it awesome, so relaxing and i didn't tire myself out trying to paint my toes!
:flower:

I think i de-fuffed with a razor like 3-4 weeks ago, and I was so sore afterwards, my skin seems to be really sensitive :( So Im not doing it again!

Im thinking tho that when it does come to having the LO everything will be all stretched and fluidy and stuff that the hairiness will not be an issue!

I just sit on the ledge of the bath, I have a gigantic bump and finding it no probs at all, dont even use a mirror lol so just get hubby to check iv got everywhere

xx

I use a trimmer - MUCH safer than a razor when you can't see what you're doing. I sit in front of a mirror and do it that way. Takes a little while to get it all off but means you're not going to be butchered or sore or get ingrowing hairs as you would from shaving. If it's trimmed to a few mm then I guess it'd just be like a few days' shaving growth.

I reach around the side of the bump and the back. It's getting harder!
