Well, I'm back!

Thanks! IUD comes out in just 3 days, and it takes longer than that for a fertilized egg to implant, so there's a small chance that it could stick after removal. I'm not super optimistic about it, but it means we got to start sooner than expected, and gets me temping and charting so next month's predictions will be more accurate! I'm so excited!

Got my positive OPK on Monday and my temp dip on Tuesday, so I believe I'm officially at 1DPO now! IUD out in 2 days, and I'll start POAS'ing (ugh I am such an addict, I have a problem) in 7 days.

Worst part is knowing that my chances this month are totally minimal but getting so excited anyway! Waiting for my next ovulation will be torture! It's always so hard!

Oh gosh, what an emotional rollercoaster you've been on! Mine is also a Mirena, but I've gotten pregnant twice with it in, and a couple of times with the Mirena before it, too. So it's obviously not stopping my ovulation.

It runs in the family. I have a sister who has been pregnant numerous times while on the pill, too. We're all very good at getting pregnant, but terrible at staying pregnant.

But it's been years since I conceived my LO, and my mom has been reminding me a lot over the last year that I'm not getting any younger! She even told me, "If you do decide to try for #2, you might not even be able to at this point." Thanks, Mom.

It's added a whole new degree of stress. So we're not telling ANYONE yet (except you ladies!) that we're even trying. I just don't want the added pressure, or the "sympathy" if we can't do it.

Thank you! I hit 8dpo on Wednesday, so you can bet I'll be POAS starting then.

Ugh! I started cramping and spotting. I think my body is being weird now that it's not getting hormones from my IUD!

I felt great up until last night! So weird that I wouldn't start spotting until almost 3 days after removal. It's a bummer that I'm probably out for the month. I'll test anyway, if the spotting clears up/doesn't get any heavier, as a "just in case," but I'm definitely not expecting anything now.

Yeah, I hadn't originally expected this month to be possible, anyway, so this was a bonus try, even though I knew it was unlikely due to the thin lining issue. Still a little disappointing!

And I think it's stopped, and it didn't get as heavy as it FELT like it was going to get. Still assuming I'm out for the month, but hey, if that's all the side-effects I get from the removal, I'll be happy.

I've always felt like Mirena was the best option for me, too, which is why I've had two. I figure that if I've had as many IUD pregnancies as I've had on Mirena, it would have been a LOT worse on the pill, and the side effects from that are awful.

Hey Dill! I remember you from when I was TTC #1. I have a 22 month old DD, and similarly, I said I was NEVER doing that again. Yet, when she was 4 months old, I found myself pregnant again with DS who is now 10 months old. I had a csection with him due to the complications of my first labour.

And..here I am again TTC #3. We are on second cycle & I am around 9dpo. It will be 110% our last baby. I swear all I do is change nappies and get babies down for naps all day, but so worth it

My temp is still elevated, so it doesn't look like this is an early AF, just breakthrough bleeding from the crazy hormones. And boy am I feeling it. So much crying today! I've been a weepy mess. I burst into tears reading "Dumbo" to my LO. Ugh.

I wish that was an option! I am trying to save my paid tleave for maternity leave... someday. I guess I'll just have to go with chocolate!
