And now I am so scared of labour and birth! I don't want to go through it all :( I'm so scared I came home crying!

I have also just started to worry about the birth too. I was hoping for a natural birth - Moving around, different positions, relaxed environment etc. But our baby has a heart defect and I think I'll be closely monitored. Hope that doesn't restrict my movements! I don't want to give birth on my back!!

Great thread about 15 below in Labour & Birth called:

'Things you'd wished you'd known before going to hospital'

It's fun, informative and quite reassuring

That must have been one heck of a class!
Just remember that people have been doing this for thousands and thousands of years successfully. And they routinely do it multiple times, so it can't be that traumatizing!

antenatal classes are often only done form one standpoint - the medical and utilitarian ...this is the pain relief this is the mechanics of what happens this is what you can ask for.

Think about what you want and plan for for it.
