Hi ladies

Went to hospital to see the Gyno regarding my m/c.

Very intresting, they think I might have a problem with my blood clotting, they think this could also be connected with pre-eclampsia which I had when pregnant with my DD 9 years ago.

They have taken lots of blood samples to be sent away ( dont get results until 10 weeks) I did ask about taking baby asprin, she sugested that it could be a good idea but she cant really say yes as there isnt enough evidence to say it makes a difference, but basiclly she was telling me to take it but not giving me the advise offically.

I also appears that I did m/c in October 08, as I thought after passing a flesh like lump with bad pains, which doctor didnt send away for testing which the Gyno was dissapointed with as this could have provided maybe some answers and then another m/c in December 08.

So I have had 2 m/c in a row and one back in 1999

I feel a lot better knowing that am now getting answers, she did say that if I get pregnant to go to my doctors and tell them I need a scan at 7 weeks and if we get the results back and they show this blood problem they can treat it, at the moment its a little relief that there maybe is a reason that can be treated.

So fingers and toes crossed for some good news

Hi Sarah,

im glad you're getting testing done, hun. Im getting bloodtests done friday. I was just wondering what made the nurse think you've got a clotting problem?

All the best!!!

Hugs, Omi xxx

Hi OMI, it was the doctor who looked into my history, m/c 1999, bleeding in early pregnancy with DD then pre-eclampsia at 32 weeks well before 32 weeks as she was only 3Ib 4oz when born so they think my blood pressure was high a couple of weeks before and she had stopped growing, nearly lost her due to no one taking my blood pressure at my check ups.:hissy:
Then my m/c in october!!! dont really know alot about this m/c as it was strange.
M/c in dec I started bleeding as soon as I got my BFP which they think was this blood thing as the pregnancy was going fine apart from this bleeding that nobody could explain not even at the scans, I had 5 scans in all, this may have caused the heart to stop maybe a clot in the placenta, not quite sure and they cant be 100% about this either.
my m/c was a missed m/c, therefore the bleeding was not the expected bleeding when miscarring, it was something else, so this is why there going in this direction at the moment.

Good Luck for your appointment on Friday

Hope this helps

sxxx
