Went to the docs today...

So I went to the doc today for a follow-up on the strep throat I had in the ER in wednesday and I also asked her if being ill/under the weather can post pone my af. I told her I took the last pill on the 24th or 25th.


She said that illness would not postpone it this late and if it doesnt come by tuesday morning, she wants me in there tueday afternoon to do some blood work to see what is up.

im scared


but on the up side, im not contageous anymore!

has anyone else got bfns on the pee stick, but had positive blood tests? or at least got bfps like 10 days after af was due?

I never have personally, but I have heard it is possible - some ladies never register on a urine test, some don't until much later.

I've heard the same thing - not registering on hpt for weeks after you are pg! (It's keeping my excited too.) One of my friends didn't test +ve on a hpt until about 18dpo...and then it was faint and when the doc's office had problems seeing the lines on their tests...it took a blood test for her. Always hope until AF shows.

I had to have bloods done with Kayleigh as POAS didn't work. I was 14 weeks pg!!!

Well they took blood on monday, I called yesterday with no results back and they are closed today X2. so Ill be calling them on thursday morning. But if I am not pregnant, then there is something wrong with me as I have every pregnancy symptom in the book and my boobs grew bigger

Just to keep everyone up on what has been going on...

last wednesday I was hospitalized with strep. really gross and bad. they gave me antibiotics and discharged me.

last night, the last night of antibiotics, and I wake up at 1230am choking on my own saliva...my throat swelled up again. Went back to the ER and they told me that since it didnt go away with powerful antibiotics, its most likely viral. They gave me a prescription for pain killers and gave me a steriod shot. the swelling is back down and its not as painful.


I texted joey to see if he would wake me up because i only got four hours of sleep and he did. he called me this morning to make sure I got up. He asked about my immune system because Ive been really "ill" lately....feeling puky all the time and now this viral throat infection that will not go away.

Something is up.

Im calling the doctor today after work on my way to school to see what is up with the results.
