hi ladies - i have lost four pregnancies and despite the heart break i am still considering trying one last time...
for my last pregnancy i was taking progesterone suppositories right up until we received news that the baby had anencephaly - i had a d&c a few days later, just two weeks ago. if we try again i would take the progesterone again as i believed it help me carry until 12 weeks - my previous miscarriages happened at 6 weeks, 7 weeks and 11 weeks. i am currently taking prenatal vitamins, folic acid and baby aspirin until i chat with my doctor about more assistive means. but what do you suggest for him? i have him taking a multi vitamin and had read that extra zinc can help, so he is taking that also. anything else that i you could suggest for him?

i am also wanting to learn more about what you are taking above and beyond vitamins or progesterone - what is the best way to encourage fertility at 39??

sorry for your losses
It sounds as if your fertility is fine if you can fall pregnant
After 3 miscarriages in the UK, women (and partners) are referred to a specialist clinic to see if there is a reason behind the recurrent losses

This can be medical issues, thyroid problems, anti phospholipid syndrome etc , and also genetic/chromosomal factors, so it sounds as if you and your OH need further tests

I'm so sorry for all your losses

Thinking back to when we conceived Nic I was on pregnacare vitamins plus B vitamin complex, vitamin C and E. Hubby was on Multivits, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc and Folic acid. I think the key is to keep up the anti oxidants for both of you as this can help with cell degradation.

We both take maca and I also take royal - I'm the same age. This year I ttc for 6 months and got pg the month we started these - I'm still taking and hoping this next one sticks - good luck
