What are my chances this month? Please help, I'm really feeling sad.

Hi Ladies. I'm new here and am feeling so anxious these past few days. Anyway, I am now on the 2WW, I think. This is my history: I had 5mg of Femara from CD3-CD7 then a shot of Pregnyl on CD13. My hubby and I had contact the next day (within the 32-40 hours) then the next day I went to my OB for ultrasound. She told me I ovulated the night before (as evidenced by the corpus luteum) so hubby and I were right on time. She asked me to rest for the next 4 days in the hope of implantation. She also gave me a booster shot of pregnyl on 4DPO and to use utrogestan daily. I will get another booster on 9DPO. I am now on my 5DPO and I don't know what to expect.

What are the chances of me being pregnant? What signs should I look out for? I really want this pregnancy and would appreciate if anyone can give me some advice on my situation. The next week will slowly make me go crazy

Anyone successful/unsuccessful who was on the same boat as I am now? I would love to hear from you.

don't really know the specifics of your treatment but for women with normal tubes, ovulating and with a normal sperm count, the chances of falling pregnant is 20% per cycle.

Is this your first medicated cycle??

As for signs of pregnancy.... there can be none or some of..... sore breasts, spotting, feeling emotional, funny tastes or smells, tummy ache

Yes, this is my first medicated cycle and at age 32, I am wanting this so bad. I had a miscarriage in late 2008 then I had to undergo thyroid surgery and radiation which was the reason why I couldn't get pregnant afterwards. My doctors only gave the go signal this year and I jumped into medication. Thanks for taking time to answer MrSRH. I keep checking out some small signs but I always end up feeling frustrated. I don't want to test bec the pregnyl will give a false positive for sure, plus it's way too early I think. I'm only 7DPO.

I'm pretty sure you can't get a false positive? Wait til 11-12dpo and test then. You'll be fine hun - best of luck xxx

Yes, pregnyl can give a false + if you test too soon after it. Pregnyl is a synthetic Hcg. Hcg is what HPT's are designed to detect. From what I have read is that pregnyl can be in your system 14 days after a shot. So really your Dr should be sending you for a blood test about cd28 to cd35 to check your Hcg level.
