What are the first steps!?

Hello everyone, myself and my partner would love to bring a beautiful baby into the world but we have no clue on how or what we need to do first.
Ideally we would like it if I could carry her egg and use a selected sperm donor vise versa. However if this did cost too much we would just find a sperm donor to use for us both so our children where genetically connected.
Can anyone please advise on the first steps we need to take in order to get pregnant we are desperate for a baby!
