What are the odds?

So we are going to ttc for baby #3 soon and as we have 2 beautiful boys already, hubby and I would love a little girl. I have read that once you have 2 children of the same sex, it's a 70% higher chance of having the same again. Has anyone heard this? Or is it rubbish?

Also please tell me your experiences!

Oh and of course we would love another little boy as well!

I haven't heard that before.

It's not true in my case, anyway. My eldest is a boy, my second and third are girls, and my fourth is also a boy.

I'm pretty sure it's always 50/50 each time you try.
