Well I don't know what I am having yet. But if it is a girl, we will name her Moira Lynn
Moira being the Irish version of the name "Mary" which runs in DH's family in different variants. The Irish version, because I have Irish heritage.
Lynn - A compromise because DH loves the name "Linda" and I do not, so we went with a diminutive form, that sounds really nice with the chosen frist name.
I insist on names to have personal meaning other than just "I like it" as a reason. Especially when DD is named Athiliya Rose. Which is a name that has an incredible amount of personal meaning and I would feel bad for her sibling if it didn't get a name with personal meaning. " OH woooow, her names so much! What does my name mean?" "Nothing, we just liked it" Seems like a cruel thing to do. Might make it feel less important to us.
