So as the title says, what are you getting your little ones for Christmas? My little boy will only be five months then so I'm not sure what to get him. Most of my family and friends are just going to give him money so we can put it away for him but obviously I'd like to get him something but then he has so much already. So what will you be doing?

I have no idea what to get LO for Christmas either, she's got so much already and she's not even interested in toys, she would rather play with a box or an empty crisp packet and has so much more fun. People keep asking me what we want them to get LO for Christmas and I keep saying I've no idea as she's got way too much already :haha:

We got ours a sit on snail thing. Its a little rocker type thing. He will only be 5 months and too young for it, but will love all the colours.
That is all we are getting him. He will get loads from family, and to be honest i dont really want him getting too much, but i get its his first Xmas and people want to, so i have asked they get him books and instruments.

A jumperoo, some clothes in bigger sizes, a few lamaze toys and a sophie the giraffe. Basically stuff we'd of probably gotten him anyway lol. I've asked my family to get clothes in 6-9/9-12 or books when they've asked what to get him. He'll be 4 1/2 months.

My SIL who will have an 8month old has asked for clothes or little toys like shape sorters ect. I got her an outfit from next in 12-18 and a crawl ball!

I going to give him "Freddie the firefly" or Captain Calamari Lamaze toy and personalise a xmas bauble for him which will be hung on the xmas tree.

He has already got a lot of toys and clothes till last till his 2 and he will only be 3 months then.

We have got Ashley a garage. He'll be 10.5 months by then and he'll have outgrown some of his other toys. He's getting a book and a 1st Christmas Disney comforter in his stocking. My family are getting him instruments and books mostly.

We will most likely get LO a jumperoo. Nothing to do with Christmas really though as we would have gotten it for her around that time anyway.

Five months is a tough age, but a cheap one! Things my LO loved playing with from 6 months on:

Measuring cups, wooden spoons, other kitchen stuff (you could always wrap them up)
Board books (wouldn't recommend lift the flap ones as they are easily destroyed, lol)
Touch and feel animal flashcards
Pajamas

ETA my own list: Some from us, some from everyone else:

Tutus
Fairy dressup costume
Radio Flyer Roadster
Rody
Wood puzzles
Bead maze
Books/bath books
Little people castle & farm
Doll
Duplo blocks
Pound a peg
Xylophone
Corn popper
Bowling set

hmm mine will be 9 months and i got:
Ball pool
Push along walker
Musical Instument set
Lots of books.
Shape sorter.

The ELC stacking cups are only 6 quid and my LO looooves them!

My lo will only be 2 months so I'm getting hin a toy box to keep all his stuff together.

We're getting LO a jumperoo, high chair for when he starts weaning, Sophie the giraffe, some bigger clothes & a kidsline blanket cause they are sooooo soft and fluffy. Basically all stuff we would've bought him anyway

LO will be 6 mths at xmas. This is what we've got her:

-Bubble maker (LO loves bubbles)
- A couple of "thats not my......." books. (thats not my puppy and thats not my kitten), she already has thats not my panda and thats not my snowman and she seems to like them
- The stickman book set
- What the ladybird heard musical book
- Jazzy toes socks (they are so pretty)
- Wooden puzzle set
- Jumperoo (but shes had that early, i couldnt wait!)
- A book case (shes had this early too, needed somewhere to contain the growing amount of books we have had donated from my SIL!

From the family-

- Red shape sorting bus
- Lights and sounds musical buggy bar
- Drum
- Crawl ball

We've got Darragh a Jumperoo. That was supposed to be it, lol, but I've kind of also got him a My Pal Scout, a Fisherprice push and go Croc and a vtech caterpillar thing.
Note to self; stop buying!!
ETA: he'll be 4 months on Christmas Eve, so I've made sure to get him stuff he can use throughout next year, ie 6months and upwards

My LO has a jumparoo and enjoyed it until she was about 6 months then screamed in it so I was planning on selling it and buying her xmas pressies with the money til I found out I was expecting again :)) I havent started xmas shopping for LO, every week is like xmas in our house, so I have no idea what to buy her, then when I do buy something for xmas I end up giving it to her :dohh: I was looking at a little kitchen play set that has a cooker and some pots etc for 9 months plus as her main present and then just getting some books and a cuddly winnie the pooh and some blocks maybe but Im loving the argos 2 for £15 deals :)

DD will be getting:

A highchair
A lamaze toy
Several V-tech toys (including a little crawling ball and a book that does nursery rhymes)
Some nice dresses
A push along baby walker
Some books

A lot of the things she will be getting are suitable for age 6 months upwards. I know she will be to young at Christmas for them but time flies and I might as well get something she will "grow" into as she gets older lol!

We've got out lo a jumperoo and a couple of Lamaze toys. Family are giving us money for him.
That's it really!!

Last Xmas dd was 11 months and it was easy to buy her things you knew she would play with either then or later. Ds will be 3 months and were struggling - we've got him a Lamaze toy and a Sophie la giraffe but that's it. He's got all dd's old toys too, so were sadly thinking of wrapping them for him...

LO will be 8 months at Christmas and we've got her:

Vtech pink baby walker
ELC sensory ball pit
Elephant ball popper
Vtech bright lights crawl & learn ball
Pink shape sorter bus
Pink steering wheel buggy bar
Musical nursery rhyme book
Peppa Pig pop-up book
Little plush reindeer

I know she also has a Xylophone from my mum & dad and very likely many other things :-)

OH also wants to get her the Laugh n' Learn Dance & Play Puppy but it seems out of stock everywhere at the mo :-(

We're saying to anyone else who asks to get her clothes in 9-12 or 12-18 months.
