What are you getting your teenagers?

My stepkids are teenagers. One lives with us and she pretty much has taken over the computer Amanda uses, so Amanda gets a netbook this year for Christmas.

They both really want a cell phone. However, we feel that my stepson who doesn't live with us should get it from his mom. Afterall, it should be her bill and she's the one who will benefit.

As for my stepdaughter, she's really not deserving of it at this point. She doesn't clean up like we ask yet she's always asking to go skating, blah, blah, blah that costs money. She also just got her report card and she's just doing average....first semester in high school too. Obviously she's not been getting her homework done because of the computer. We will deal with that.

Anyhow, Jayden and Amanda have gotten main gifts - one a netbook and one a playstation. My stepdaughter did get a bedroom set last week for an early gift.

I pretty much plan to get my stepdaughter clothes, boots and makeup. Her mom will be getting her an IPOD touch. Do you think she will think the other kids got better stuff than her?
