Update. Mirena so far so good. Basically no cramps, light spotting stopped after 2-3 days. Now it's just a waiting game to see what else happens. Hoping for no sporadic bleeding. AF due in 10 days so will be interesting to see what happens there.

Cramps and bleeding stopped for me. As I'm bf I don't expect a period any time soon.

I have been on the depo shot since Dec. 2014 and i hate it! I am in constant pain (severe cramps) and have been non stop bleeding & horrible acne.. it sucks i am deff. getting off of it and not sure about getting back on anything right now..

I'm on Cerelle 'mini-pill' progesterone only pill. I have been on it about 9 months. I'm feeling better than I did on the combined pill (used to take Cilest) - that caused me to be a complete nightmare lol.

The first few months I was bleeding on and off every 10-12 days for 10-12 days. I was so tempted to come off it but I decided to keep going for 6 months and see how I got on. Bang on 6 months the bleeding stopped and I've had regular 30 day cycles since then with a 3-4 day period each time. I am still moody. I also find that I have a true cycle with all the spots, greasy hair, discharge and also ovulation pains! I haven't gotten PG though so maybe it's doing something lol.

I'm tempted to come off it soon. I'm trying to get my health sorted out generally and the mood swings etc are adding to my misery lol. On the whole I'd say it is 'OK' lol

Update:

Had the copper coil two weeks now. I had light bleeding for around 4 days (last two days barely anything) it did hurt a bit going in and caused cramps like period pain for the first day. Not bad enough that I bothered taking anything.

I've had the mirena coil for just over two weeks. Just started my period and so far is it lighter than it used to be. Will be interesting to see how long it lasts.

Hubby had a vasectomy, however, I have the mirena iud to help w periods/endo

I love the mirena! The first couple months sucked but once my body adapted, I am so glad to have it! It has improved my lady issues tons! I highly recommend it

I'm on Nexplanon. I love it's reliability, ease of use and the fact I don't have periods but I'm seriously thinking about getting removed as I have no sex drive, it's making me HUGE and everyone complains I'm so grumpy on it

Update on mirena. Started my period as normal, it has been lighter but unfortunately this is day 12 of it! Sigh, hoping it doesn't last much longer!!

Interesting to read I've got an appointment to have the Mirena coil fitted mid next month and my implant will be taken out the week after. I've had my implant in for 2.5 years and the last 3 months I've had 5 periods!

I've had mirena since October. I do like it,my periods are regular. But my last three cycles have only been 25 days so I bleed for 5 days, and I'm blood free for 20? It sucks

Update: so I think I bled for two weeks with my first period (maybe just longer) but it wasn't heavy. In fact, it stopped being (TMI!) red blood after maybe a week and was just dark brown. I didn't get a period this cycle. Just still some extremely light brown spotting (more prominent when I exercise). So far I'm very happy with it!

FYI: Got it fitted 20 Jan.

Bcp called Gederal. Its.....ok but I'm currently on my 2nd pack without a break so I don't get AF at a wedding next week and my boobs are sore and heavy, im having cramps, sicky feeling and headaches. Even did a preg test to make sure and im not.
Maybe this pill doesn't do well when taken in succession but otherwise its ok.

Just condoms for now i take so many tablets for my mental health problems I came off the mini pill to see IF it made any difference and to get some more chemicals out of my body xxx
