What blood tests do they do at first midwife appointment?

For the booking in blood tests what exactly do they check? I know they check for infectious diseases such as HIV rubella etc
But do they also do a full blood count? Or do they just check for iron levels? Do they check thyroid function etc too?

They check for iron blood type, rhesus factor, immunity to rubella and for any STI's. It might be different in different areas though.
