What can i expect at 31 week appt?

So, as the title says...

would they be able to tell me my babys weight? or is this only possible through ultrasound?

I had a 30 week appt and it was the same as the rest--measure of belly and heartbeat check along with weight and blood pressure. I have a 32 week wednesday appointment and we are getting ultrasound because i'm more advanced in age (34).

Not sure if they can estimate baby's weight without ultrasound...can't imagine it would be very accurate if they did. My OB just happened to say at my 28 week appt that she didn't think i was going to have a small baby, but she didn't elaborate...
